Service Support

When you talk about your service support requirements, MinePro listens. That is why we offer the broad array of equipment service support in our portfolio. Our service support offerings include:

life cycle managmentElectrical re-commissionings
Day-after-day, week-after-week, year-after-year your P&H shovel has been a reliable source of low cost loading. Even the best of instruments need to be fine-tuned after years of exposure to some of the toughest machine working environments on the planet. MinePro has the information and skills to test your shovel's electrical system and re-commission it to like-new standards.

Emergency service
24/7, winter, spring, summer or fall, MinePro stands ready to spring into action should your operations experience an emergency equipment breakdown. Even if the emergency occurs on a holiday, MinePro can muster a response team on your behalf.

Encore® component exchange program
All Encore exchange components are totally remanufactured to original equipment specifications, including the latest design improvements. Benefits of the Encore program include minimized machine downtime, reduced component repair/replacement costs (up to 70% cost savings), and next-day or same-day delivery.

GE motors, warranty and repair services
MinePro is a principal worldwide distributor and service provider of GE motors, electrical systems and spare parts for all large excavating and drilling equipment used in surface mining. Several MinePro repair/rebuild facilities are GE factory-approved service centers.

Maintenance and repair contracts
Fixed cost-per-hour or cost-per-ton contracts for mine shovels allow mines to optimize profits by budgeting specific amounts to maintain the equipment. When they know their maintenance costs will not exceed a set amount, they reduce their costs and minimize risks. Such arrangements enable MinePro to perform proactive component change-outs, greatly reducing the risk of catastrophic failure.

Machine audits and condition assessments (MAX and E-MAX)
What if you could have a summary of hundreds of inspections covering every facet of your P&H equipment - a risk analysis that could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars, and provide you with a reliable projection of your service needs year-by-year over the next five years? MinePro's ‘MAX’ (Machine Auditing EXam) program for mechanical systems and E-MAX for electrical systems gives you the information you need to help you get the greatest uptime and the lowest-possible operating cost from your P&H mining equipment. MAX program inspections encompass hundreds of details - operating factors, preliminary-audit component-service-life forecasts, dynamic inspection of actual-versus-recommended settings, electrical system analysis, total systems analysis, and structural analysis - ultimately reported to you in a MAX Audit Book packed with critical data about your mining equipment. You get the useful information you need for more effective operations and maintenance planning - and to help you avoid catastrophic failure.

P&H motor warranty and repair services
While MinePro distributes and services GE motors and electrical systems, it also handles P&H motor warranty and repair services. P&H has been custom-designing and building its electric motors for mining shovel applications since 1935. MinePro rebuild/repair centers are well-equipped and staffed to handle your P&H motor warranty and service support.
