P&H OPTIMA Plus Dippers
P&H OPTIMA^® Plus dippers are available for P&H and non-P&H shovels. Designed for an exceptional balance of digging and loading performance, a key feature of OPTIMA Plus dippers is a stronger, weight efficient design resulting in greater productivity. Dipper geometry is optimized for quick filling and easy, even-pass loading with a minimum amount of time spent in the bank. The body structure is designed with high cheeks to slice through the bank and is constructed primarily of 100,000 psi alloy to ASTM A514 standard of high strength and rugged durability.

Gears
The highest quality materials, combined with superior design and craftsmanship, make P&H gears the best choice for your P&H shovel. P&H gears are designed specifically to fit their mating gear or pinion, resulting in reduced wear and extended service life.

Motors
P&H designed mining shovel rated motors are specifically built to meet the demanding requirements of the P&H shovel application. The heavy duty DC motors provide the fast, dynamic reversing response necessary to meet the shovel duty cycle. P&H has been building rugged shovel motors for over a half century with proven, reliable performance.

Racking
The wide range of operating and installation requirements for dipper handle racking is met by P&H racking alternatives, including manganese and alloy steel, either butter welded or unbuttered. These options allow you to zero in on the best material for your specific application. 40+ and 50+ Spin Hardened Rollers
P&H spin hardened rollers are designed to extend roller life from 20% to 40%, depending on the roller selected. The superior surface hardness (41-48 Rc or 52-62 Rc respectively) offered with these rollers is achieved through molten salt bath technology. The carefully controlled differential hardening process optimizes the hardness profile, thereby strengthening the metal on the wear surfaces. By matching the high hardness of the rollers to that of the work hardened roller path of manganese shoes, overall shoe and roller life is extended, replacement costs are reduced, and machine downtime is minimized.
