P&H MinePro Services' new support facility opened in August, 2006.

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- September 2006 -- P&H MinePro Services - Appalachia is pleased to announce the opening of its new support facility in St. Albans, West Virginia. The new site opened in August.

MinePro has moved to a new location to provide customers in the Appalachia region with a higher level of support, including expanded services and life cycle management initiatives. The new facility features 30,000 square feet of combined shop and warehousing space, and 3,000 square feet of office space. A larger shop area allows MinePro to increase its services, such as fabrication, welding rebuilds, and mechanical assembly for component exchange or repair and return programs. The new building also provides warehousing and office space for the growing technical and support staff of MinePro.

The MinePro team in Appalachia currently consists of 25 staff members.

P&H MinePro Services - Appalachia provides a wide range of parts for P&H machines and other brands of mining equipment, alliance products, upgrades and modernizations, field support, and shop repair. With the recent Joy Global Inc. acquisition of Stamler, MinePro is now in a position to support Stamler's surface mining products - from sales to parts and service support.

P&H MinePro Services is the global distribution and support arm of P&H Mining Equipment, the world’s leading supplier of electric rope shovels, large rotary blasthole drills and walking draglines. MinePro provides life cycle management support of surface mining machines, and also is a full-line distributor of wheel loaders, haul trucks, hydraulic excavators and allied products and services.
