P&H has an extensive volunteer program that offers opportunities to employees and retirees to help the community here at our headquarters in Milwaukee. Many of these opportunities are focused on the important STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education initiatives in our neighborhood schools. At our worldwide MinePro locations, we also focus our volunteer opportunities and charitable donations on education, as well as providing resources that provide economic and social stability to the communities of our employees and customers.
As a leading manufacturer of some the world's largest mining equipment needed to harvest vital resources from the earth, we recognize these resources are finite and precious and keep a constant focus on the environment. We engineer and manufacture energy efficient equipment that is used not only to harvest minerals but to reclaim the land following mining activity. We develop enhancements to our equipment that can keep the same equipment operating for decades, prolonging its active life and conserving resources used to manufacture equipment. We help relocate and refurbish equipment, so globally the industry is optimizing all the physical assets. We make decisions that are environmentally sound and are on a constant path to improvement.
