Specific Openings as of May 20, 2008

Account Manager - Hibbing, MN  - Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with all levels of management for designated customers. Actively promote and be responsible for all products (P&H, Pyramid, Alliance Products and other Parts) and services offered by P&H. Learn customer operations and become an integral part of the customer planning process, regularly and accurately forecast customers’ parts and service needs/requirements. Manage Alliance agreements. Prepare formal bids/quotes. Provide marketing data to management. Assist in the resolution of all commercial and technical issues. Grow existing business by 15% annually while maintaining specific sales and margin goals.

A Bachelor's degree and/or 10 years outside sales and marketing experience preferred. Previous experience in the mining or heavy construction industries required. Above average written and verbal communications skills and strong PC (Word, Excel, E-mail) skills. Moderate travel required.

Previous experience in the mining or heavy construction industries required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational skills and strong PC (Word, Excel, E-mail) skills. Moderate travel required.

Field Services Auditor/Estimator - Gillette, WY - This Auditor/Estimator will work with all Mines to complete Machine Inspections and create audit reports based upon those machine inspections. Upon completion of the inspection reports they will be submitted to the Mine personnel and P&H Sales Group for potential repair, modifications, and component sales. This person will also review job work scopes, customer specifications, sub-contract proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, material and labor estimates for quoting rebuild, repair and field service jobs for the Western Region Field Service Operations. Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason/justification for any discrepancies.

A minimum of (10) ten years related experience in the Mining Equipment and Repair Industry, an Associates Degree in Business or a related field preferred. Experience with the SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Prior experience in quoting and estimating is preferred.

Machinist - Gillette, WY / Mesa, AZ / Elko, NV - The ideal candidate will have machinist experience in restorative repairs to support the electronic motor business. Must be able to fabricate parts from blueprints and hold strict tolerances. Welding experience is preferred.

Mechanic - Gillette, WY / Mesa, AZ / Elko, NV - Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support on P&H products along with supporting alliance products that may be in the territory. Hydraulic and mechanical skills with experience in troubleshooting. Experience working on hydraulic drills, hydraulic shovels and P&H equipment is a requirement. A CSL license is preferred and experience in operating cranes, fork trucks, and heavy off road equipment. Basic electrical skills would be a plus. Travel in the Southwestern United States and Mexico may be required.

Safety Specialist - Gillette, WY (2 Openings) - The successful candidate will travel to all job sites, complete job site audits, conduct training on various company, MSHA and OSHA regulations, complete accident/incident investigations, assist in completing and compiling proper paperwork for MSHA and OSHA standards. This person will also assist in continued training of the workforce in the “Safe Start” program.

This position requires 3-5 years safety experience, thorough working knowledge with MSHA, OSHA and DOT regulations, experience in training groups of people, excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and the ability to interact with the work force, members of management and customers.

Sales Representative - Hibbing, MN - Identify and develop key accounts to increase sales within the taconite mining industry, aggregate, power generation and food processing industries. Provide technical assistance to customers and generate inquires/quotes. Proactively solicit sales/repair opportunities, provide sales initiatives for wire rope and chain rigging, material conveying systems and components, industrial wear materials & linings. Identify opportunities and work to provide solutions using MinePro sourced products and services. The successful candidate must be able to maximize existing client relationships while building new. Identify growth opportunities and provide marketing data to management.

A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five (5) years outside industrial sales experience is preferred. Must be able to work independently and travel. Territory includes Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula. Computer skills (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) helpful.

Senior Sales Representative - Gillette, WY - Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with all levels of management for designated customers. Actively promote and be responsible for all products and services offered by MinePro. Assist in resolution of all commercial and technical issues. Become an integral part of the customer planning process, regularly and accurately forecast customers’ parts and services needs/requirements. Grow existing business by 10% annually, while maintaining specific sales and margin goals. 

A Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years sales and marketing experience preferred. Previous experience in the mining (coal) or heavy construction industries preferred. Above average written and verbal communications skills and strong PC (Word, Excel, E-mail) skills. Travel required.

Welder - Gillette, WY / Mesa, AZ / Elko, NV - Several openings - This mid-level position works directly under the supervision of a manager, supervisor or lead person in a shop or field environment. Employees should have at least three to five years' experience and must be able to pass a standard certification test. Must be able to read and interpret basic schematics of electric and mechanical equipment with minimal supervision. Will possess intermediate skills with gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding and shielded metal arc welding. Must be able to cut, grind, shape and fit-up all projects with occasional supervision. Must be able to pass a standard welding certification test. Complete all appropriate paperwork in a timely manner to ensure corporate quality standards are maintained. Travel Required.
