After the front stay and the walkways were completed, two extra cranes were brought in just to lift this assembly and install the back legs in their final position. The back legs tower over 100 ft. (30.1 m) above the revolving frame.

This is another major milestone in the erection of the P&H 9020 dragline. For almost a year now the crew has been assembling and welding large, heavy steel components. From this point on to completion, the dragline will become a mechanical, structural and electrical project.
