The erection was started by assembling the 15 section base (tub) on the highly reinforced concrete pad. These sections were aligned and leveled on hard wood lumber, oak wedges and steel shims. After assembly of the massive tub structure, certified welders went to work using the latest welding techniques and specialized welding equipment.
