This 30 horsepower vertical milling machine is especially adapted for field use on the P&H 9020. After the tub and the upper revolving frame have been welded, both surfaces have to be machined before the rotating machinery is installed. It takes Kelly nearly five hours with the milling machine to make one revolution around the 64 ft (20m) diameter tub.
